Positive: This is a great little hotel in the heart of the city center. Close to everything and very walkable. We were able to walk to the bus station that took us to the ski lifts and received a free bus pass from the hotel. We loved the friendly staff, especially Michael. He is warm and helpful with a fun sense of humor... he made our stay amazing and was very attentive and thorough with great suggestions. We loved all of the little unexpected perks of staying in this hotel.

Positive: location, sauna The hotel is really good for skiers travelling with public transportation. It has a small sauna and rest room but is always empty. We really enjoyed the sauna. We also booked the skipass from the hotel with reduced price.

Positive: We arrived very late due to delay of the trains therefore almost all restaurants in the town were closed. So we could not really make use of the facilities but the breakfast next morning was great with a huge variety to choose from. Staff was helpful and supportive as far as it was possible that evening.

Negative: No roomservice for nighthours. So we had to go to the only open place for food which was a turkish fast food place, but the main reason for this was the delay of the train to Oberstdorf.

Summary: late arrival spoiled our chance to fully enjoy the hotel

Positive: Breakfast was fabulous! Rooms small, but functional. Very good location - Oberstdorf centre! Kind stuff, always ready to help! Nice hotel, a bit old, but very nice!

Negative: Parking is problem in Oberstdorf. Hotel has underground garage, but you can not drive car inside by your own. Although very helpful stuff will get your car whenever you want.

Summary: Nice business trip
